Driver CPC Module 5 Training

This module deals with the ability to load the vehicle with due regard for safety rules and proper use. We will cover general information on the forces affecting vehicles in motion. We will look at the use of gearbox ratios, the calculation of payload and the calculation of total volume, and the effects they have on the loading of a vehicle. We will then move on to discuss the load distribution and the two requirements that must be met when loading a vehicle. Overloading the axle, the vehicles stability and the center of gravity are other areas that we will discuss.
