Ride On Roller Course




This course aims to equip learners with the understanding of the importance of safety while operating a Ride On Roller while at work.

Course Objectives:

On completion of this course, learners will:

  • Be aware of the employers responsibilities under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
  • Be aware of the employees responsibilities under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
  • Understand the rolling techniques including the principles of compaction
  • Be able to safely operate a Ride On Roller



Course content:

  • Health & Safety Legislation & Regulations
  • Discuss the role of the employer & employee in terms of Health & Safety in the Workplace
  • Safe Use & Operation of the Ride On Roller
  • Preparing an area for compaction
  • Pre-Use Inspection
  • Overhead & Underground Conditions

Training Methods:

Classroom based power-point presentation with learners gaining some practical experience operating a Ride On Roller under the supervision & direction of our highly experienced instructor.
Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for those employees who operate a Ride On Roller as part of their normal duties.

Maximum of 4 learners

Certificate of Competence will be issued to all learners who successfully complete & pass this course.
