ABA SKILLS INTERNATIONAL FORESTRY FIRST AID- IEFA-F




ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:  NONE

DURATION:

1 DAY (MIN 6HRS CONTINUOUS TRAINING INCLUDING ASSESSMENT.)

DELIVERY: 

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM/CLASSROOM, MUST INCLUDE PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT.

AWARD:

International Certificate of Competence & 24-7 web based  digital e-passport.

 

 

  • KNOW THE ROLE OF A FIRST AIDER & RISKS TO FORESTRY WORKERS.
  • KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF PREVENTIG CROSS-INFECTION.
  • KNOW  the requirements & jhow to record incidents & actions.
  • Be able to use avaialble equipment.
  • Be able to assess the situation & circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
  • Be able to administer first aid to an unconscious casualty.
  • Be able to administer CPR.
  • Be able to confidently use an AED (Defib)
  • Feel confident providing first aid for minor injuries and also more severe injuries.
  • Be able to deal with elctric shock casualties.
  • Remote casualty evacuation.
  • Severe Chainsaw/Machinery Injuries, Crush Injuries, Hypothermia.
  • Lyme Disease
  • Suspension Trauma
