Fire Warden

Course Details:

Designed by Irish Fire Safety Engineers, this course meets the training needs of staff responsible for Fire Safety within the organisation.

Aim : To provide training to staff who intend to fulfill the role of Fire Warden within the workplace as described by The HSA.

Training Objectives : On completion of the programme participants will be able to:

• Assist the set-up, monitor and audit a fire safety program
• Describe their legal obligations under current legislation
• Describe their fire responsibilities
• Describe the science of fire
• Describe how fire starts and spreads
• Identify fire hazards and understand how these are controlled
• Keep all required records

Certification :
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Refresher course is recommended every 12 months.
