Telehandler (experienced) 1Day




Course Aim:

The aim of this 1 day (experienced) CSCS Telehandler course is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge & understanding to safely operate a Telehandler

Course Objectives:

On completion of this course the learners will be;

Aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation as it applies to safe operation of a Teleporter

Able to safely operate a Telehandler

Aware of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008

Course Programme:

Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005

Employers & Employees legal duties under current Health & Safety Legislation

Safe Use of an Telehandler

Pre-use Inspections

Traffic Management

Site Safety


Training Methods:

Classroom based presentation on power-point. Learners will gain some practical experience operating a Telehandler under the supervision & direction of our highly experienced instructor

Who Should Attend?

Those employees who are responsible for or in control of a Telehandler

Additional Information:

Maximum of 3 learners


SOLAS CSCS Identity Card & QQI certification will be awarded to those who successfully complete & pass this course

Each participant must have six months verifiable experience in the last two years and a valid in date safe pass card.

Learners must have their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc….)
