Skid Steer / Bobcat

You  should not confuse experience with competence. You just have to Google 'bobcat accidents' to see how easily accidents occur with these machines.

These machines (like other machines) are built to very exacting safety standards so it is often not a fault of the machine that causes the accident but the fault of the operator. Like MEWPs, skid steer  vehicles are relatively easy to operate and most people will figure them out pretty quickly, which makes them all the more dangerous.

This course highlights the dangers of operating skid steer machines, the measures to be taken to avoid injuries to others and to the operator. It outlines the importance of maintaining skid steer machines in good order and how to carry out pre-use inspections on skid steer equipment.
